One thing that SRS really got right is the car modifications. I didn’t have enough buttons, so I had to awkwardly hunt for keyboard keys while trying to race. There are different menus that need different buttons to navigate, the windshield wiper has its own button, even the brake bias is adjusted with different buttons. The other problem with the controls, particularly when using a controller, is that in game there is a button for everything. On a single screen the field of view was very limited and just finding the right button combination to move the camera around in car was something I honestly never solved, I just ended up playing it in 3rd person which kind of goes against the spirit of a sim. ![]() First off it was legitimately difficult to make the controller do what I wanted. ![]() I have a standard PC, a usb gamepad that looks like an xBox controller from a distance and about 20 minutes per gaming session. If I could have a bunch of monitors, a wheel with pedals and time to learn the courses this game would be a fine addition to other racing simulators. I feel bad giving an in depth review on this game because I’m sure most of what caused my lack of enjoyment stems from not having the correct setup.
